Expectations

Mechanic in Garage

Keep in Mind

The first expectation for the class is an understanding that hands on assignments need to be completed on time. Students need to learn to manage their time to stay on task and avoid getting behind. This models the expectation in industry as vehicles need to be repaired in a timely fashion

Things to Remember

The second expectation is success in the classroom. Modern vehicles are very complex so a deeper understanding of how things work is critical. Troubleshooting problems is a large part of a truck technicians’ daily workload. Without a deep understanding of the various systems, troubleshooting is virtually impossible.
